Job Description
The role holder is repsonsible for preparing job analysis and evaluation and maintaining standardized
job descriptions for all Kahramaa employees and Organisational design. The role holder is also
responsible for supporting management and preparing recommendations on Job Evaluation, JD,
Organization design under the guidance of the Senior Analyst – Organization Development.
Key responsibilities
- Initiates the development of policies, systems and procedures to establish or enhance the Organization job evaluation program in order to ensure documentation, grouping, evaluation, grading, control and management of all of the Organization positions.
- Updates job evaluation and grading standards, such as the Grade Level Matrix, maintenance of Benchmark Jobs, Job Family Descriptions, etc.
- Develops or updates job evaluation manuals outlining new or proposed improvements to existing systems and procedures; updates job evaluation forms and distributes them to the relevant job evaluation committee members for notification
- Ensures that all established positions in THE ORGANIZATION have documented Job Descriptions (JD) and ensures the content of the job descriptions are updated regularly ; carries out desk or field audit of positions to ensure validity of job descriptions
- Develops and encourages the use of official Standardized Job Descriptions for positions across the Organization
- Provides general staff-advisory services to the Organization managers on issues of job description and evaluation
- Studies and evaluates the effect of organizational change to individual positions and through the concerned manage; initiates the rewriting or updating of affected JDs, and in close coordination with Officer – Recruitment Planning completes the necessary job evaluation
- Prepares periodic statistical management reports pertaining to prevailing position-average-grade trends to assist the Organization policy makers in devising innovative strategies for the long-term manpower-cost-management
- Keeps in close contact with the appointed consultants that will be responsible for the provision of their evaluation system and supplies agreed upon data to them for annual audits, if appropriate
- Prepares oral or written reports or presentations that include graphic representations and statistical summaries, for the perusal of immediate managers and supervisors or to persuade client-managers or supervisors on recommendations
- Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certification.
- Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in-line with the Organization health and safety regulations.
Skills Description
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline, preferably in Human Resources
- Master Degree in HR is preferable.
- More than 8 years of relevant experience in a similar industry and/or position
- Written and Spoken English and Arabic is preferred
