Overview
As a seasoned professional in the medical sector, the Workforce Data Analyst Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting management through the design, implementation, and maintenance of workforce analytics.

With a focus on harnessing extensive experience in the medical field, this role involves in-depth analysis and interpretation of human resources data tailored specifically to the unique demands of healthcare. Collaborating closely with Human Resources functions, the specialist ensures alignment with industry standards while identifying strategic initiatives to enhance various HR areas within medical organizations. From collecting and analyzing HR metrics to designing predictive analytics solutions, this position is instrumental in driving data-driven decisions that optimize HR operations and contribute to the overarching goals of healthcare institutions.

Responsibilities 

  • Utilize expertise in the medical sector to assist management in designing, implementing, and maintaining workforce analytics.
  • Analyze and interpret a wide array of human resources data specifically tailored to the medical sector, identifying strategies and initiatives impacting various HR areas.
  • Collaborate closely with Human Resources functions to understand business processes and requirements, ensuring alignment with medical sector standards.
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from diverse sources, conducting thorough analysis for trends, gaps, and opportunities within medical HR functions.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to design and implement workforce analytics solutions and reporting processes that cater to the specific needs of medical HR.
  • Provide support to the team in delivering operational and project-related reporting and analytics, optimizing Corporation-wide HR reporting and insights within the medical context.
  • Take a proactive approach to plan and implement predictive analytics, enabling data-driven decisions on key medical HR functions.
  • Prepare detailed reports communicating findings from data analyses and offer recommendations for management, coordinating with relevant teams in the medical sector.
  • Present comprehensive reports to various audiences, ensuring clear communication of insights derived from HR data analysis in the medical field.
  • Maintain databases and extract data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance to medical HR requirements.
  • Conduct surveys and studies to gather relevant HR data specific to the medical sector.
  • Undertake any related duties or responsibilities as directed, leveraging medical sector experience to contribute effectively.
  • Uphold high standards of confidentiality to protect sensitive medical information.

Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human Resources, statistics, or a related stream relevant to the role.
  • CIPD / SHRM / PHR / SPHR is a plus

Experience 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resources with similar responsibilities related to data analytics,

  • Knowledge of HR Practices and HR Trends
  • Proven ability in statistical analysis.
  • Ability to analyse data effectively in order to produce recommendations.
  • High level of Computer literacy and Proficient in MS Office
  • High Skills in using Data Analytical tools and applications
  • Exceptional analytical skills with previous experience working with standard business intelligence dashboards and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Accuracy & attention to details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with and relate to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight and competing deadlines.
  • Experience in dealing with management and staff at all levels including the ability to effectively initiate and maintain relationships.
